M57 Remote Oil Filter Plate
This plate removes the bulky oil filter & cooler housing assembly that commonly gets in the way during engine swaps. Proudly made 100% in house from 6061 Aluminum.Ā
The kit includes a pair of M18 to 10AN male fittings for the oil filter lines, M8 stainless socket cap screws, OEM BMW gasket, and a 1/8" NPT plug for the aux port. The port for the OEM BMW oil pressure switch is retained. The AUX port is for the easy addition of an aftermarket oil pressure or temperature gauge if desired.Ā
We have settled on theĀ CVR PerformanceĀ billet oil filter mount as the best compromise between value and quality and have added it as an option. It uses a Wix 51060 or equivalent filter.Ā
